On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors of Tennyson Road Primary School we would like to welcome you to our website. From September 2019, Tennyson Road became an Academy and part of the Tennyson Learning Community, which is a multi-academy trust.

We believe very strongly in the need to form a close partnership between parents, staff, and pupils. Our children are happy, challenged and able to make an individual contribution to the success of our school and we aim to create a positive learning environment for all pupils in which they can thrive.

It is a great privilege for us to have the opportunity to lead a team of talented, professional and dedicated staff who aim to create a primary school in which every pupil flourishes in a caring, happy environment.

We are also justly proud of our high standards and fantastic results, being in the top 1% nationally in 2018 and 19, sustained over time.

We are one of the most successful primary schools in the region, popular and oversubscribed.
