Here are a few pictures of the children half term Roman projects.  The children have worked really hard during their half term to produce some great projects. We have displayed the models in and outside the classroom so the whole school can view their superb work.no

As it is Science week year 3 would like to share their class experiment with you. This term we have been researching plants and their functions. We have been looking at water transportation investigating how water travels up from the roots. Today have used celery, water and food colouring to see if water really does travel up through the stem of plants.

At the moment the children are busy learning their times tables. We have recently started having times tables tests in class.  The children have 10 random questions and a BONUS question. (you never know when the test may strike). surprise

The children are thoroughly enjoying this, and are keen to practise.

Here are a couple of resources you may like to use at home.

Some of the childrens projects on display outside the classroom. An opportunity for the rest of the school to view the hard work the children have put in.

This term we are looking at the Stone Age to the Iron Age. As part of their homework the children were asked to make a model linked to our topic. I am so impressed with the models the children have made and these are now on display around our classroom. Well done!
